Chlarissa works in reception and is one of the first friendly faces our clients see.

Away from the office Chlarissa likes to spend time with her husband and 3 girls. She enjoys caravanning and being outdoors.

Stacey began her administration career in Sale and has since worked in multiple areas of the financial services industry, including roles in accounting administration, reception and financial planning. She has a background in retail and debt collection and also holds a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. As Client Services Officer, she enjoys building relationships with Gippsland Accounting Solutions’ clients, and supports the accounting team with administration tasks to ensure everything is running smoothly. 

When not at work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, seeing friends, reading, and going to the gym.

Yvonne has worked in accounting administration since 2010, and has extensive experience in client services, administration and supervisory roles. At Gippsland Administration Solutions, Yvonne is the first point of contact for our valued clients.

Yvonne is bubbly, very organised, and the unofficial head chef, frequently providing staff with her delicious baked goods. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family. 

Cayla joined the team at Gippsland Accounting Solutions after a career change in early 2023. Having graduated with a Batchelor of Veterinary Technology in 2022 from Charles Sturt University and growing up locally on a dairy farm, Cayla understands the requirements to run a business in many industries. Cayla is currently completing her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping to further develop her new career change. 

Cayla is an active member of the community, being involved in the local badminton community and volunteering her time as secretary of the Heyfield Tennis Club. In her spare time, she loves playing Tennis and Badminton, as well as spending time with her two golden retrievers on her family farm. Cayla looks forward to engaging and working with clients to support them in growing their business though out the different industries. 

Alaysha joined Gippsland Accounting Solutions as part of the Bookkeeping team, she has a Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping with 3 years of experience performing Payroll and Bookkeeping duties, she has sound knowledge using Accounting software programs such as Xero, Intuit Online and Myob.

Alaysha is trustworthy and reliable and enjoys helping clients stay up to date with their BAS and Bookkeeping requirements.

When she’s not working, Alaysha enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Kerrie joined the team in 2017 as one of our senior bookkeepers. She has expertise in a number of cloud-based accounting software programs such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, and MYOB, including payroll and superannuation processing. Kerrie has a friendly, patient manner and loves to help her clients develop the skills and knowledge they need to take ownership of their bookkeeping. She has many years of experience training her clients with their software needs and general bookkeeping requirements, including in BAS, superannuation, single touch payroll (STP) setup, and lodgements. 

Outside of work, Kerrie helps out at the Sale Football Netball Club, volunteering in the canteen, and enjoys watching the local football, netball and cricket leagues.

Nicky joined Gippsland Accounting Solutions in 2020, having spent over 10 years in the taxation industry. She has a Certificate IV in Business Administration, Certificate III in Customer Contact, and a Diploma in Management, and looks to finalise her bookkeeping studies in the near future.  

Nicky has spent much of her career focused on client support, and she loves working directly with her clients to enable them to succeed in all areas of their business. She enjoys the process of learning, and continuing to develop her skills and looking for opportunities to improve the team’s processes and procedures.

Away from the office, Nicky volunteers as Treasurer for the Kath Foley Child Care Committee of Management. She’s always trying to get outdoors to fish, camp and play netball, and of course loves to spend time with her family.

Sally started her accounting career in 2012 as a trainee in Foster.

She completed a Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University in 2018. Sally enjoys all areas of taxation. Away from the office Sally enjoys spending time with her family on their small farm and overseas travel.

Ben began his accounting career in 2018 after emigrating from England in 2015. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Accounting at University of South Australia after becoming an Australian Citizen in January 2023. He has extensive experience in completing both individual and business tax compliance work and is looking to expand this further by taking on clients of his own.

Away from work Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Maddy and two children, Alfie and Bella. He is involved with the Maffra Cricket Club, currently playing and holding the position of Treasurer. Ben also enjoys cooking and is often trying out new dishes and recipes at home. 

Grace began her accounting career at Gippsland Accounting Solutions, joining as a trainee accountant fresh out of Year 12 in 2021. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting at Deakin University, and is keen to expand her skills and knowledge in the fields of accounting and bookkeeping. Grace is an active part of the local community and an enthusiastic worker – both traits that hold her in good stead for her future in the industry.

In her spare time, Grace does surf life saving and plays netball for Maffra. She enjoys spending time at the beach and with her friends, family, and partner, Tom.

James began his accounting career in 2015, and is currently completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at Deakin University. James excels at working with individuals and small business clients in any capacity they need, from helping them implement and make the most of their bookkeeping and accounting software, right through to tax planning and financial year end tax work.

Outside of work, James is heavily involved in the local sporting community, where he is the President of the Maffra Basketball Association and plies his trade on the football field with Boisdale. James also enjoys travelling, reading, and staying fit – he can often be spotted running the paths around town

Starting her accounting career in 2015 as a Graduate Accountant in Sale, Leesa has worked hard to continually grow her accounting knowledge and skills to become an invaluable team member of Gippsland Accounting Solutions. Leesa has a passion for all areas of taxation and strives for excellence to help her clients develop, grow and better manage their accounting processes to achieve the best outcomes and goals for their business.

Away from the office, Leesa enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, playing Monday night netball with the girls and going to our beautiful local wineries.

Glenn Stagg has been an accountant in public practice since December 1984, and was a Director/Principal of his own firm for 32 years. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA). Glenn specialises in providing management advisory services and business planning, and has a wide range of experience across many commercial facets of business, including commercial and engineering, farming, and retail.

Glenn is passionate about community support and dedicated years of volunteering efforts, including over 25 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Victorian CFA, serving seven years on the Board of Gippsland Base Hospital, and a further 12 years once it became Central Gippsland Health service, with seven years served as Chairman of the Board. Currently, Glenn is a volunteer member of the Community Advisory Group for Star of the South, a project that plans to establish an offshore wind off the coast of South Gippsland.

Ben started his accounting career in 2009 at Duesburys in Sale, and is very excited to be part of the great team at Gippsland Accounting Solutions.

Ben specialises in personal income tax returns, small business taxation with clients in various industries, and business advisory. He is also our go-to expert for processing self-managed super funds and any questions about them.  

Ben grew up in Maffra and enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and watching AFL (or just about any sport). He is also a Life Member of the Maffra Football Netball Club, where he played football.  

Rebecca started her accounting career in 1994, entering as a trainee after she finished Year 12. In her decades of experience she has built extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of industries, understanding the specific issues and needs that arrive for each one. Rebecca consistently helps her vast array of clients achieve results above and beyond expectations. Alongside with her bubbly personality, her consistent success has helped her grow an extensive client base across industries with enduring relationships. 

In her spare time she loves travelling with her friends and family, favouring the Alps in winter and a beachside location in summer.

James started his accounting career in 2000, just as the industry saw major changes with the introduction of GST. He holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting and sub-majors in economics and business law, and is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with a Public Practising Certificate.

James works with all types of clients, from individuals through to businesses and SMSFs. Having gained an extensive knowledge of tax, accounting and business issues, he loves the challenge of assisting our clients with tax, business development, cashflow, succession and other financial matters through the ever-changing and challenging business and financial environment.

Away from the office, James is an avid fisherman and enjoys getting outdoors, playing footy in the AFL Masters League, and spending time with his wife and three children. He is also involved in the Business International Network Group (BNI) in Sale, and is a committee member for the Wellington’s Biggest Ever Blokes BBQ.

Starting his accounting career in 2005 as a trainee in Sale, Justin put his head down and learned the trade for fifteen years before founding Gippsland Accounting Solutions Pty Ltd in 2020. During his career, he has worked with businesses of all sizes in a variety of industries, from retail to agriculture, manufacturing to professional, medical and allied services, to NDIS support services. Justin is enthusiastic about breaking down the financial literacy barriers and cash flow management challenges that both startup and existing businesses often face. His goal is to empower business owners and help them understand this critical side of their business. Justin is also passionate about accounting software and new programs that can simplify his clients’ back office workflows, freeing them up to do what they love.

When he’s not helping businesses, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, volunteering as the treasurer for the Gippsland Vehicle Collection, hitting the local mountain bike trails or heading off for the day on his Indian Scout motorbike.
